by Space Frontier Foundation on May 16, 2010

The Space Frontier Foundation endorses the eighth Space Investment Summit as a crucial event for the commercial space industry. Held on May 26th, 2010 at the InterContinental Chicago Hotel O’Hare Airport in Chicago, Illinois, SIS-8 includes a full day of discussion sessions with investment leaders and business plan presentations from commercial space entrepreneurs. SIS-8 registration is complimentary for investors and discounted for those attending this year’s International Space Development Conference, held in conjunction with SIS-8.

Featured speakers include Joshua Raffaelli of Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Richard Garriott of Space Adventures Ltd.

“The Space Investment Summit Coalition is proud to showcase business opportunities arising from advances in space-related commerce. Entrepreneurial efforts of whatever kind will no doubt benefit from this development – in Illinois and around the world.”

~ Dr. Paul Eckert, SIS Executive Coordinator and Space Frontier Foundation Advocate

The goal of SIS-8 is to promote innovations and increase investment in the commercial space industry, as well as offer invaluable insight to new space businesses. Forums topics will cover technology developments, business partnerships, and the space marketplace. Those interested in supporting the commercial space industry, whether through ideas or investments, should attend the business presentations, as SIS-8 is an important opportunity to network and build partnerships.

SIS-8 is co-hosted by the Space Investment Summit Coalition and the National Space Society. The Space Frontier Foundation encourages you to register today for SIS-8 and get involved in the business of NewSpace.
