Safe, reliable and cost-effective commercial access to space is the critical focus of many government agencies and space R&D organizations. Technologies necessary for low-cost and reliable space access are close to maturity, but new system development and affordability remain obstacles to fully and frequently utilizing space to meet commercial, military and civil space requirements. The CRASTE brings together leaders from the Air Force, NASA, FAA and industry to discuss successes, current R&D efforts, technology gaps and national resources available to support commercial space efforts. The 2011 CRASTE will take place in Atlanta, GA on October 24-27 and registration is available online.
