NewSpace BPC 2009
The Space Frontier Foundation organizes the annual NewSpace Business Plan Competition. The competition traditionally includes a review of business plan submissions by space industry investors, a mini-boot camp at the annual NewSpace Conference, followed by finalist presentations, and announcement of a winner at theNewSpace Awards Gala.
2009 Competition Winners
1st Place: Flagsuit, LLC
2nd Place: Syntiant
Honorable Mention: Santa Clara Satellite Solutions
The 2009 winner, Flagsuit LLC was awarded a $5,000 cash prize courtesy of the Heinlein Trust and received the opportunity to present at Space Investment Summit on September 30th, 2009 in Boston, MA. Flagsuit also won the opportunity to present at the next Space Angels Network event, and received from FundingPost.com a three month membership and two tickets to their VC conference.
