TEDxMidTownNY Event to Pierce the Veil of Jupiter

The next installment of the popular TEDxMidTownNY speaker series will take place on Tuesday, May 9th, 2011 from 6-9 pm at the Hotel Beacon in New York City. With the theme “Piercing the Veil,” the focus of the event is to peel back the clouds of Jupiter and discuss the science we find, as well as the important role that art plays in our discovery of the physical universe. Cosponsored by the Space Frontier Foundation (SFF) and NASA, this event will host speakers Scott Bolden, Chief Scientist for NASA’s upcoming Juno Mission, and photographer, writer, and filmmaker Michael Benson. TEDxMidTownNY Event Slated for March 8th

TEDxMidTownNY space speaker and discussion series has a new home at the Hotel Beacon NYC on Broadway at 75th St., New York, NY. On Tuesday, March 8, 2011, the headline speaker will be Tom Shelley, VP of Space Adventures, the only company providing human space missions to the world marketplace.
