Fellow Space Frontier Foundationers & Friends,
The Space Investment Summit Coalition is proud to showcase business opportunities arising from the dynamic interplay between the growing hospitality/tourism/entertainment industries and advances in space-related commerce. Entrepreneurial efforts of whatever kind will no doubt benefit from this development–in Florida and around the world.

The NewSpace Frontier: Down to Earth Market Opportunities
May 27, 2009
8:15 am – 6:30 pm
The Summit will focus on the rapidly expanding linkages between space and non-space factors in the hospitality/tourism/ entertainment domain. The program will include stimulating keynote and panel presentations, featuring the most respected and creative minds in relevant industries, as well as demonstrations of state-of-the-art simulation and virtual space experiences. Networking opportunities will be built into the day’s program culminating with an engaging reception.
Featured Luncheon Speaker
Jon A. McBride, Captain, USN (Ret.); NASA Astronaut (Former); Vice President, Strategic Development, Delaware North Companies
Captain McBride will highlight business opportunities in space, drawing on his extensive experience both as an astronaut and as an industry leader. An example of his creative business approach involves creation of the 44,000-square-foot Shuttle Launch Experience at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Visitors strap in and “get vertical” for an all-too-real simulation of the sights, sounds and feelings of a space shuttle launch.
