Director, Advanced Exploration Systems Division, NASA Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate (HEOMD).
Jason Crusan is the senior executive, manager, principle adviser, and advocate on technology and innovation approaches leading to new flight and system capabilities for human exploration. Using an integrated approach that leverages public-private partnerships, industry, international partners, and academia, Mr. Crusan leads AES across all NASA Centers, developing and maintaining critical human spaceflight capabilities; maturing new integrated systems, instruments, and ground systems; and delivering critical multi-million dollar flight hardware for NASA.
President, Moon Express, Inc
Dr. Andrew Aldrin, known as Andy, has been President of Moon Express Inc. since March 2014. Dr. Aldrin has 20+ years of business leadership and policy experience in high-profile, aerospace companies. Prior to joining Moon Express, Dr. Aldrin was Director of Business Development and Advanced Programs at United Launch Alliance (ULA) where he oversaw development of corporate strategies, business capture, senior customer relations and advanced program development for civil space markets.
President, Commercial Spaceflight Federation
Michael Lopez-Alegria is the President of the Commercial Spaceflight Federation. He comes from a distinguished background in aerospace which includes positions as a Naval Aviator and test pilot (Capt., U.S. Navy, Ret.), NASA astronaut and International Space Station (ISS) commander. He has over three decades of experience with the U.S. Navy and NASA in a variety of roles including Naval Aviator, Navy engineering test pilot and program manager, NASA astronaut, ISS commander, and assistant director of flight crew operations.
President and CEO, The Golden Spike Company
Dr. Alan Stern is a planetary scientist, space program executive, aerospace consultant, and author. In 2007, he was included in the Time Magazine 100 most influential people and was appointed NASA’s chief of all science missions. Since 2009, he has been an Associate Vice President at the Southwest Research Institute. Additionally, from 2008-2012 he served on the board of directors of the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, and from 2011-2013 he served as the Director of the Florida Space Institute. In 2012, Dr. Stern co-founded The Golden Spike Company, whose goal is to offer human transportation to the lunar surface.
