On Monday, Dec. 21, leading space startup, SpaceX, will launch an upgraded Falcon 9 rocket into Low Earth Orbit (LEO), deploying 11 ORBCOMM telecommunications satellites. SpaceX will then attempt a precision landing of the rocket’s first stage, which, if achieved, will revolutionize access to space, unlocking a new, accelerated chapter in human space exploration.
